Come and explore the WA Military Digital Library at 11am Sunday 28th at the Town Hall. Angela and Gwyn will showcase some of the amazing letters, diaries and photos that are part of their ever growing collection.
They will also launch their Volunteer Defence Corps project. Over 900 men from the York-Northam area volunteered to be part of the Home Guard and took part in the drills and training.
Come along and see if you recognise any of the names. Perhaps you can add to the collection of images? Bring along your military memorabilia and have it digitised on the spot.
