The York Christmas Festival offers free fun featuring kids rides, late night trading and live entertainment for the whole family.
The York Christmas Festival commences in Peace Park with a number of children’s activities, visit from Santa, rides and live entertainment. The Festival continues along Avon Terrace with a street party atmosphere, late night trading and the turning on of spectacular Community Christmas tree lights.
Why not stay the night or take a drive around the town to view the Best Decorated Business and Residential Lights entries or to view the town’s heritage themed Christmas decorations which include a number of life sized Christmas cards throughout the town’s CBD and parks.
