A weekend of displays, tours, talks and everything gardens and gardening.
Programmed activities
Saturday 14th October
10am- 4pm
RSL Rose Gardens and Hall. Browse the beautiful rose garden and explore the Memorabilia in the hall - a special tribute to York's fallen.
The Residency Museum will be hosting a family fun day with special events for the young ones, including the Fairy Trail and plant potting station.
The River Conservation Society will host a series of talks at the Environmental Centre (Full programme available August 2023)
"Airing of the Quilts" will be on display at The Sandalwood Yards on both Saturday and Sunday and there will be a beautiful quilt and other goodies as raffle prizes at this display and also at the Open Garden Event.
11am- 2pm
Compost making demonstration at 25 Grey Street York. (Free Event)
There will be a Ticketed Twilight Open Garden on Saturday evening with refreshments and entertainment. $15pp. Bookable and pay online. Details to follow - Limited Numbers.
Sunday 15th October
10am-3pm
Garden Club Open Gardens Day. Stalls and refreshments available at some venues. Entry with Gold Goin donation.
11am - 2pm
"Wicking Bed Making and Use" demonstrations at 25 Grey Street York. (Free Event)
All Day Activities
Browse the Bushland Garden on Grey Street
Hop on Hop off bus touring the events on Sunday. Timetable will be at York Visitor Centre.
Full programmes will be available at the Visitor Centre from end of August 2023.
