A number of WYLIE ARTS' artists will be exhibiting in Pantechnica Gallery during the month of June (2023).
Wyalkatchem is a town in the central Wheatbelt region, 192 kilometres east-north-east of Perth. At the 2021 census, Wyalkatchem had a population of 358.
WylieArts incorporated is a small group of art loving people who live in Wyalkatchem.
Craig Cooper completed his honours in Fine Art at the University of Tasmania and exhibited in the inaugural Florence Biennale in 1999. He has exhibited in the USA, Europe and Japan and interstate.
The manager of the Wyalkatchem CRC, Craig was instrumental in setting up ‘WylieArts’ with other local artists and plays a major role in the production of the annual Wylie Arts Expo.
This art group meets at the Wyalkatchem CRC on Sundays to discover, develop and grow their creativity in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
This is their first group showing.
