Beverley - Artists In Residence - Station Gallery
Past Event
Lovingly restored, the Old Railway Station (1886) sits in the heart of the rural town of Beverley (pop. 1700), on the Avon River, and is just 100 minutes east of Perth. The restoration of the main station building was completed in 2006 and since then Beverley Station Arts Inc has worked towards making the entire station precinct into an Arts Centre.
The venue consists of the Station Gallery and Artist Residency, the openair Platform Theatre plus the picturesque Station Garden that is available for public use at any time; just open the gates and enjoy!
The Station Gallery is now home to the Shire of Beverley community art collection and runs a successful Artist in Residence program for the whole year from the old station masters residence, culminating in several exhibitions and workshops during the year
