August welcomes three cycling events to York with hundreds of riders and supporters anticipated to stay and play throughout the month, contributing to the York economy.
The month of Mountain bike (MTB) events at Wongborel/Mt Brown kicks off with WA Gravity Enduro, Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 August, hosting a whopping 250 competitors and many more spectators. The thrills continue 14 August with XCO (Cross Country) MTB action and the month winds out with Downhill racing, Sunday 28 August.
All three events will take place at Wongborel / Mt Brown across a mixture of firebreaks, raw trails and rocky outcrops.
Access to Wongborel / Mt Brown summit will be restricted to pedestrians only during competition, with limited parking on Pioneer Rd, Steere rd and at the Mt Brown picnic area.

The Shire of York acknowledge all three events take place on the traditional lands of the Ballardong people of the Noongar nation and respectfully acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging.
