WA finally opened its doors to the world yesterday for the first time in 697 days, with around 5,000 interstate and international arrivals expected to land on Thursday flights alone. While travellers are welcomed in they will be greeted with new restrictions.
All home gatherings will be capped at 10 people, while hospitality, entertainment and fitness venues continue to follow the two square metre rule limited to 150 people. Forward facing venues including cinemas, theatres and major stadiums will be reduced to 50 per cent capacity.
A world pandemic we never imagined would happen, happened. Even though Covid-19 is far from over, we’ve taken a huge step to invite everyone back into our amazing state and reunite family & friends.
