The Shire of York is seeking a vibrant and passionate person to join the York Visitor Centre team in the following role
Visitor Information Officer
(Visitor Experiences)
This is a permanent part time position, ideally suited to person/s willing to work weekends and public holidays with social media and digital technology experience.
About the Role
The successful applicant must possess;
- A passion for local tourism
- Great communication skills and be a people person
- Experience with social media, online platforms and digital technologies
- A willingness to learn
- The ability to work weekends and public holidays
Further Information:
The base rate of pay offered for this position is $29.50. Penalty rates apply in addition to the base rate for hours worked on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

A national police clearance and pre-employment medical is required prior to confirmation of employment. All Shire positions are subject to a three-month probation period.
