YORKids Roving Music

Taiko On in Japanese language means “Sound of the Drum”. The members of this dynamic troupe come together to display their love of the Japanese drums to regional audiences.
Their Sensei, Simon Vanyai, originally studied Taiko in the mountains of Nagano, and since bringing his love of Wadaiko back to Australia has helped form four Taiko groups across Tasmania and WA.
Members of the team will provide a roving performance at 11.30 / 12.30pm and 2pm and be conducting drumming workshops inside the Town Hall at 12pm/1pm and 2.30pm
This is a self guided activity suited to all ages with high volumes of noise.
