We want to work with you on the future direction for York. We want to know your vision for the next ten years. We also want to know what we should particularly focus on for the next four years to progress towards the vision.

Our current plans are based on your feedback from early 2016. We have made good progress in implementing those plans (more on that later). Now we want to refresh and revise our plans. Are there new and emerging issues we should be addressing? Are there areas where we need to lift our game? Are there areas where we are doing too much or not providing enough value relative to costs?
How can we all work together to make York a better place to live, work and visit? Come along and have your say!
How to get involved:
• Fill out the Big Idea card in the Shire Office
• Draw a picture of what the best thing is about living in the Shire of York (16 and under)

• Paper copies of survey available at Shire offices
• Come to a workshop in the York Town Hall!
