Avon Park, Lowe Street
FREE 24HR RV PARKING
There is availability for a limited number of self-contained RV's to park at Avon Park, for free, for a 24 hour period. There is also a Dump Point available at Avon Park. Fresh water is available, free gas BBQs with shaded picnic areas. This area is close to shopping amenities and our famous Swinging (Suspension) Bridge.
Gwambygine Park, Great Southern Hwy
FREE 24HR CAMPING & RV PARKING
11kms south of York, one of the few remaining permanent pools of the Avon River, has a nature boardwalk and viewing tower. Gwambygine Park is also offers free 24 hour camping or RV parking. Please note however, that you need to be prepared or have a self-contained RV as there is no RV dump or water supply. BBQ and public toilets are available.
NOTE: Boardwalk is currently close for repair.
