York Courthouse Museum, Art Galleries and Gaol (York Courthouse Complex)

Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10.00 AM to 2:00 PM ** Due to the current hot weather conditions, complex is open Fri/Sat/Sun 9am - 1pm

Buildings date from the 1840's and include two courtrooms, police station, troopers’ cottage, gaol cells and stable yard.    

The new art galleries are highlighting different schools of Aboriginal and contemporary Australian art.
