This long weekend in June will come alive with a new event called YORKids – A Winter Adventure.
The event will run from 11 am – 5 pm Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June throughout the Town Centre.
The programs will see free activities including Nature Play WA’s Mud Monsters Ball, camp fire cooking, performances by Zap Circus, Junkadelic Brass Band, Spaced Out youth engagement, Ghost tours and winter light projections by VJZoo.
If you want to see your art work up in lights get involved in the light projection workshops occurring in the first two weeks of May at the CRC, Highschool and Early Years Hub.
The event is made possible by support from the Shire of York, Heathways and the Department of Local Government and Communities.
