A self guided tour of gorgeous spring gardens showcasing artwork from local artists.
The York Garden Club and The York Festival come together to bring you the York Garden Art Trail!
Nine local gardens will be opened to the public from 10am to 3pm across the weekend of Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October for the York Garden Art Trail. Local artists work will be displayed throughout the gardens for your enjoyment.
This is your opportunity to go behind the garden gates and have a peek at what the local gardeners are achieving. Whether you are looking for landscaping ideas, creating a new garden or just love exploring established gardens – there is something for everyone.
At each venue you can be assured of a warm welcome, and you can chat with the artists and gardeners about their work and working methods. At some gardens you will be able to buy a cup of tea, a piece of cake or even take home a new artwork.
Drop in and enjoy! Visit one, two or them all. All gardens are close to the CBD of York.
